PARTNERSHIPS

Creating a community culture that promotes healthy choices.

Community partnerships with other regional organizations and coalitions allow collaboration to support CPAKC’s priorities and efforts with shared/similar goals and interests regarding substance use prevention and community wellness.

Perhaps the most significant community partnerships are the coalition members themselves, as their daily lives and employment are based on some aspect of community prevention and wellness, as well as areas of treatment and recovery.

CPAKC members represent many sectors of the community including schools, youth-serving organizations, civic/volunteer groups, law enforcement, government, religious organizations, healthcare professionals, and parents/guardians. CPAKC often faces challenges with the recruitment and retention of members, especially from the media sector. CPAKC continues to recruit and invites interested community members to participate in monthly meetings and prevention activities. We encourage anyone who would like to participate to contact the coalition coordinator.
